Undivide is a small, offline puzzle. If something is broken or confusing, write to us — we read every email.
We usually reply within a few days. To report a bug, please include your device (e.g. iPhone 15), your iOS version, and the app version and Device ID shown in the game's About panel (menu ☰ → About). The Device ID is also how you can ask us to delete your data — see the privacy policy.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device. Undivide has no accounts and no cloud sync, so there is no backup: deleting the app also deletes your progress, we cannot restore it, and it does not transfer to another device. On the website, clearing your browser data for undivide.xyz has the same effect. (We do receive gameplay statistics — see below — but they are not a save file and cannot be turned back into your progress.)
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No to both. The game is fully playable offline and never asks you to sign in. When you are online it sends us gameplay statistics — levels solved, your best times and moves, which settings you use — plus error reports, so we can see what to fix and improve. It is keyed to a random identifier your device generates, never to your name, email, or any account. The privacy policy spells out exactly what that is.
There is no sound
Check that your phone is not on silent, and that sound is enabled in the app's settings. Sound starts on your first touch (browsers and iOS both require a gesture before audio can play), so the very first moment of a session is silent by design.
The game feels stuck or a piece will not move
Pieces snap to valid positions only. If one refuses to settle, drag it a little further — it is looking for a legal fit, not resisting you. If a level seems genuinely unsolvable, please email us the level number; that is a bug we want to know about.
