Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Undivide is a puzzle you can play in your browser at undivide.xyz or install as a mobile app. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no ads. We collect what we need to see how the game is used and whether it is broken — and none of it is tied to your name, your email, or any account.

Who is responsible

The controller for any personal data processed through undivide.xyz is BRAVOECHO s.r.o., Čapkova 16, 811 04 Bratislava, Slovakia (see the legal notice). Contact: [email protected].

What we collect from the game

Both the website game and the mobile app send us the following, so we can see how the game is actually played and whether it is broken:

All of it is tied to a random identifier generated on your device — never to your name, your email, or an Apple, Google, or Undivide account, because none of those exist here. We cannot tell who you are, and we do not try to. We are nonetheless straight with you about what this is: because that identifier is stable, it lets us follow one player's own events over time, so we treat it as personal data under the GDPR rather than pretending it is anonymous. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the game (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

What we never do: we show no ads, we use no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or photos, because the game never asks for them. We do not sell anything to anyone.

The game is fully playable offline. With no connection nothing is sent, and the game plays exactly the same.

Your progress is not backed up

Although we receive the events above, they are not a save file and there is no cloud sync. Your actual progress — solved levels, bests, and settings — lives in your browser's local storage or the app's own storage, and nowhere else. So deleting the app (or clearing your browser data for this site) erases your progress, and we cannot restore it, and your progress does not follow you to another device. That is the trade-off for having no accounts.

Server logs (website only)

When you load the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical data (your IP address, the requested page, timestamp, browser type) in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure and available (legal basis: our legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept only for a short period and are not combined with any profile about you.

Website traffic analytics

On the website only, we additionally use OneDollarStats, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and referrers). It does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile. Because it sets no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required (legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding site usage). The mobile app does not include OneDollarStats or any other third-party analytics SDK — only the anonymous first-party events described above.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The game uses your browser's local storage only to remember your own progress and settings, as described above.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is processed only by the service providers needed to run the site (our hosting provider and the analytics tool named above), each acting on our behalf or under their own terms.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).

Because there is no account, we cannot tell on our own which events are yours — and where a controller cannot identify you, the GDPR (Art. 11) does not require it to go looking. We would rather not hide behind that. So we show you the identifier: open the game's menu (☰) and choose About, and you will find a Device ID there. Send it to us and we will tell you exactly what we hold against it, or delete it. You can also simply delete the app, or clear this site's data, which removes everything stored on your side.

Children

Undivide is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The game requires no account, shows no ads, and never asks for personal information, so it can be played without providing any. The gameplay events described above are not tied to a name or an account, at any age.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, when purchases or the leaderboard are enabled). The date at the top reflects the latest version.
